questions handled by our support staff, along with some tips
and tricks that we have found useful and presented here as
questions.
|
- How do I change the prayer names
from Dawn to Fajir, Noon to Zuhr, etc.. ?
- How do I change the times of Prayers
between Summer and Winter (i.e. Daytime Saving Time -
DST)?
- How do I Stop the Sound Alert
once it starts to play?
|
Select Tools->Customize from the main menu or click
the customize button on the main toolbar. From the Period
Names tab, Select/Highlight the Period/Prayer you which to
rename from the Periods/Prayers List and enter the new
name in the Period/Prayer Name text box. Repeat these
steps to rename other periods/Prayers, Press O.K. when
finished.
Select Tools->Customize from the main menu or click
the Customize icon on the PrayAlert bar and then click the
Location Tab. In the Time Zone box, Select Automatic. If
you select Automatic and the time in the selected time
zone is incorrect It means that either your local Daylight
Savings Time (DST) or DST info about the selected time
zone is incorrect. PrayAlert uses time zones information
from your local Windows settings. Some Windows versions
have incorrect DST data concerning different time zones.
In that case you may have to use the Manual setting. Note
If you select Automatic, then PrayAlert will determine the
GMT offset and daylight saving settings based on
information stored in your windows registry. However, if
you select the Manual mode, then you would have to enter
the GMT offset and manually adjust that number for
daylight saving if applicable.
The information you need is available in the PrayAlert
online Help, It is as follow: To stop a Sound Alert once
it starts to play, just right-click the mouse over the
PrayAlert icon on the system tray and select Stop Playback
from the popup menu. "
